Gordon attended school at St. Michael’s College in Ballsbridge and then went on to study business and economics at Trinity College Dublin.

- Gordon has a keen interest in adventure sports including – Surfing, Kayaking, Mountain Biking, Hill Running, Climbing, Snowboarding, Trekking and Mountaineering
- His sporting interests and love of travel have brought Gordon to various parts of the globe from numerous sporting adventures in the Alps to the Himalayas of Nepal and the Andes of Peru and various far flung tropical surfing destinations around the world
